ABOUT US

Prardhana charitable Trust is a registered non-profit organization , established in 2001, to help the less privileged, poor and needy. The Trust provides a range of facilities to benefit the less privileged and to improve the quality of life for them. The main focus is on delivering quality education to the disadvantaged and poor children.

Initially, in the first few years our aim was identifying ‘out of school children’ in slums, providing them basic training and mainstreaming them in Government schools ( where education is free).

what we do

Prardhana began its journey in 2001 , with the main aim of identifying ‘out of school children’ in slums, providing them basic training and mainstreaming them in Government schools ( where education is free). we would gather the “out of school” children in slums, conduct informal classes for these children and join them in schools. In the first few months we had our greatest learnings. The unforgettable experiences, the difficult and challenging situations… strengthed and motivated us to take up the challenge with a stronger will and determination. Soon we realized education system was confronted with many challenges and needed a new approach. The trust then began to involve with Government schools to build their capacities.

(Low Cost Fun Filled Skill Improvement Activities)

Locofunsia is an innovative initiative of Prardhana to bring an overall development in children in Government schools, using fun- filled skill development and thought provoking activities and games in schools, making learning fun and enjoyable.

This tool provides many features that Private school kids experience while learning (which the government school children are deprived of).

Upon its good reception,LOCOFUNSIA has been introduced in as many as 17 Government Primary Schools across Hyderabad.

PRE-SCHOOL IN GOVERNMENT SCHOOLS

Government schools do not have pre-schooling or pre-primary class . From 0 to 5 years children develop necessary skills for physical, cognitive and social development. It is therefore vital for all children to attend a preschool.
